The heat of the sun is a little bit different this year. Because of this, according to my cousin who serves as the local tourism officer in Boracay, tourists have poured more than last year. Could global warming be one of the reasons why? I hope not.

Boracay tops Russian international tourism expo

"MOSCOW, Russia -- The Philippines won three major tourism awards during the 18th Moscow International Exhibition on Travel and Tourism (MITT) held at the Expocenter Krasnaya Presnya in the Russian capital.

Boracay garnered two awards for 2010 – the Best Island Resort, and the Best Resort Destination in Southeast Asia.

In the event, the Philippines also was recognized as the “Discovery of the Year for 2010.”"

Cavite agriculture festival
