 Watch out for a “tourism explosion” in the province of Bulacan in the next three years.


 


Just like the colorful Bocaue fireworks shooting across the horizon, Bulacan will soon be bursting out with new tourism sites to boost domestic tourism.

Trek to 4th highest peak to highlight Lang-ay festival

"BONTOC, Mountain Province, Philippines – Hundreds of mountain climbers and nature lovers will be trekking the country’s 4th highest mountain peak located in this landlocked province to usher in the world famous Lang-ay Festival and the 44th founding anniversary of the province which is scheduled on April 4-7, 2011.

The Mount Kalawitan trek starts at the foot of the Cadchug rice terraces up to its summit and descends in Alab barangay here."

Cavite agriculture festival

"CAVITE, Philippines — Officials in Cavite launched Friday the Organic Agriculture Festival to further promote organic farming and products in the province. The unprecedented event was held at the Capitol grounds in Trece Martires City.


The festival was an offshoot of the Cavite Agri Fest and Farmers Congress that was held at the Capitol Gymnasium last January 19 and 20.


The theme of the twin event was “Organikong Pagsasaka Tungo sa Maunlad na Agrikultura” (Organic Farming Towards a Progressive Agriculture.)"
